162Un nou estudi ha deixat en evidència l’escena de ‘Jurassic Park‘ en la qual un ‘Tyrannosaurus rex‘ desenfrenat persegueix el personatge, que encarna Jeff Goldblum, ferit i fugint en un 4×4.
Científics de la Universitat de Manchester han comprovat que la grandària i el pes d’aquesta espècie significa que no podia moure’s a gran velocitat, ja que els ossos de les potes s’haurien enfonsat pel seu propi pes. El que significa, senzillament, que qualsevol carrera trencaria les potes del dinosaure.
La investigació, publicada a la revista PeerJ, estudia àmpliament la marxa i la biomecànica del dinosaure més famós del món i, utilitzant l’última tecnologia informàtica d’alt rendiment de N8 High Performance Computing (HPC), que ha creat un nou model de simulació per provar-ne els resultats.
