El patró del iot que va envestir mortalment un jove a Cala Bona compareix als jutjats

Dennis Viehof, el patró de l’embarcació que l’agost de 2024 va envestir mortalment Guillem Comamala, el jove de 20 anys que pescava amb dos familiars a Cala Bona, a Son Servera, ha comparegut aquest dilluns als jutjats de Manacor. L’instructor del cas l’ha citat aquest dilluns, a les 9 h, perquè declari en el marc de la instrucció del cas. L’investiguen per un delicte d’homicidi imprudent i un altre d’omissió del deure de socors.

Els fets varen passar el mes d’agost, quan el iot de grans dimensions que patronejava Viehof va xocar contra la petita barca de les víctimes. Dies després de l’accident, l’home es va presentar de formar voluntària a les dependències de la Guàrdia Civil, però es va acollir al seu dret a no declarar. L’informe de la Benemèrita va concloure que el dia del sinistre, navegava a una velocitat excessiva.
